Sunday Play Time

P has been sick off and on for about a month now.  In fact, everyone in the house has been sick for the past month.  With P's sickness came a new attachment to her mommy and daddy.  Don't get me wrong, I LOVED the extra cuddle time (which is any cuddle time at all), but I could do without the whining every time I just set her on the floor in the middle of all her toys.  So we were surprised today when she actually played by herself for a good while.  She's so much cuter when she's playing and not crying.

It all started when she stood up and held her new "Peek-A-Boo" baby doll like an actual baby.  It was so cute, so we grabbed the camera.  Of course she put the baby down and moved on to another toy by the time we were ready to snap the picture.

She originally had the blanket in the bucket and was carrying the bucket while pushing the lion.

It amazed us! But as soon as she saw the camera she put the bucket down.  Go figure.

Here she is actually dragging the lion behind her. 

I don't think she is aware that she could actually be walking on her own by now.

Then she went straight for Harley and gave him an ear rub.

Usually it is more like an eye poke, but perhaps she is beginning to understand "gentle"!
