Bear Hugs

Paisley took her bears for a wagon ride yesterday.

Watch out, Harley!

P really loves her "Harley Bear".
She kept taking her out of the wagon...

and giving her hugs.

and kisses.

and whatever this is.

Back in the wagon!

Oh wait - time for another hug.

Awww....

Ok, back in the wagon for real this time.

Just kidding. Another hug.

and kiss.

Ok, now I'm serious about the wagon.

Maybe not. More hugs.

Man, she looks wore out!
She's been playing hard.

P and "Harley Bear" both needed a nap.

I absolutely love how loving P is toward her stuffed animals and other people,
including her friends -- (especially the boy ones, but don't tell Dad.)
I hope she continues to show love to others as she grows older,
but preferrably in other forms besides kissing! :)

Wild Woman!

Paisley is a wild woman.
You can tell by her hair.

And the way she eats.
Just look at the array of strawberries on the table.
How did they get there?  There is only one answer.
Wild. Woman.

And how does this happen?
She gave herself a little jump boost and got stuck.
She was going after an Easter egg.

And why would you roll the push toy when it is obviously so much easier to pick it up and carry?
She does this on a regular basis these days.

We did get the pool out this week, but the water was too chilly to get in.

Holy Cow! Can my kid actually climb and pull herself up this ladder?
She is so strong!

And proud of herself.

This was pretty cute this morning.
She spent about 30 minutes "writing" in her book.
She will be a great student.

And again, very proud of herself.

Staring Contest!

And one of my favorite moments captured:
Paisley tries to eat my face!

Easter in Earth

We celebrated Easter in Earth, Texas with Trent's family.
It all started with a gift from Gram & Pap:

P had some much needed Gram & Pap time.

Table for two?

It seems like I have a picture like this from every time we visit.
Carly loves her baby cousin.

P eats very good when we visit Gram & Pap.

Kami (Trent's sister) and I ran in a 5K on Saturday.
You will not find any pictures of us running on this blog -
mostly because we were too fast for the lens.
But Gram, Pap, Trent, and the kids all came to cheer us across the finish line.

"Go Mom! You're Number 1!"

I loved completing the race and seeing this face!

After the race, we went to lunch at Furr's with the entire Parish family.
Cue redneck joke.
Unfortunately I do not have pictures from this event,
but maybe Trent's aunt will post some that I can share with you later.

Later on that day...

Gram taught P had to play the piano...

and cook!

 We played outside A LOT!

Aunt Kami had to get her love on P.

So did Harley.

Caleb and Carly wanted to ride their bikes every minute of the day.

P just chilled out.

Wait, where are you going?

WE FOUND DIRT!

Oh yeah, it feels so good!

We did get P cleaned up for church on Sunday.
Then we went to MaMa & PaPa's house for lunch.

Caleb, Carly, Paisley, Braden & Easton.
We were missing a few other cousins this year.

Pap shared his dessert with Paisley.
She got fueled up for the egg hunt.

There was a little bit of time to play outside before the hunt began.

Jimma & David

And They're Off!

She must have gotten inside one of her eggs!

Here's the gang all checking out their goodies after the hunt.

It was a beautiful day, so we headed back to Gram & Pap's to spend the afternoon outside!

 Peek-A-Boo!

Carly is teaching P how to be a lady.

Caleb would be in more pictures, but he was on his bike...without the training wheels!

We had a fabulous trip.
Paisley didn't take any naps, but she behaved so good.
She crashed at 5:30 tonight!
