Cousins

Aunt Kami, and Paisley's cousin's Caleb & Carly came to visit us this week.  I had to attend a teacher workshop and Kami was gracious enough to come babysit!  I think Caleb and Carly did most of the babysitting.

P was introduced to video games. Eeks!

Caleb had fun with Uncle Trent's flight helmet...

and learning how to play the guitar.
P liked dancing to the music.

CHEESE!

Bath Time!

P giving Carly some tackle love!

Carly & Caleb also loved giving P hugs.

These two pictures crack me up!
Harley and P have the same expressions on their faces!

 COUSINS!

The kids had a lot of fun swimming and running around the backyard.  Caleb enjoyed playing baseball with one of P's toys and a coke bottle as the bat.  They both enjoyed chasing P around the house and yard.  I think Aunt Kami probably enjoyed sleeping in her own bed when they got home! :)

In other news, P had two new firsts recently:

Eating a corn dog.

And this! My parenting will never be the same.

The video would not upload, but yes, P can now open doors! Yikes!

Holy Mol-ars!

Paisley's first four molars are arriving.
It has made for some unpleasant moments during the past few days:

This was taken after she woke up for a long afternoon nap.
Check out the hair and Angelina Jolie lips!

Although P can have her cranky moments,
we have also been able to capture a few sweet moments this week.

These moments don't come very often.

Trent took these pictures while I was out for a run.
He did a great job!

P has taken a new interest in sitting in our laps.
She will come up to us, turn around, and then back up until her bottom lands in our lap.
She will even do this to the huge teddy bear that sits in her room.
I will have to get a picture of that soon.

Here is one last video of a happy Paisley, despite those yucky molars!

We will keep the Orajel and Tylenol on hand, and keep on!

Mother's Day Weekend

Gigi, Bobalou, Aunt Summy, and Cousin Ashlyn came to visit us this weekend.
Summer brought her new fancy camera, so you can bet there were lots of pictures taken!

It's still amusing how different Paisley and Ashlyn are.
P is "full throttle" and Ash is "little miss priss".
P is always on the go, and Ash is very laid back.

On Saturday we took the girls in the wagon to the neighborhood garage sale.
I was the winner that day as I found this Crayola Easel,
complete with magnetic alphabet and full bag of sidewalk chalkd, for only 5 bucks!
It was an instant hit with Paisley, although it's permanent home will be with my friend,
Priscila, who will be keep P next year when I go back to work.
We might have to sneak a few pieces of chalk to keep at our house.

We also visited Bricktown in OKC.

You might have noticed how much taller P is compared to Ashlyn.
Ashlyn has Achondroplasia, which is the most common type of dwarfism.
We are so excited to have such a special little girl in our family.

P loves her cousin, although Ashlyn has different feelings towards Paisley right now.

"Tickle Tickle"

A kiss on the back
"Bobalou! Save me!"
 Checking Ash's diaper

Hugs!

On Monday we ventured out to the zoo.

Obviously the zoo wore these two out!
This may have been the only nap Paisley took the whole weekend!

Later that evening we took the girls around the neighborhood in the wagon again.

The girls also received personalized placemats from Gigi.
P is in love with hers.
She wants to sit in her chair just so she can talk to the girl on the placemat.

(notice the chalk in P's hand - must not let go!)

We spent the rest of the afternoon just practicing with Aunt Summer's new camera.
Enjoy.

Thanks Gigi, Bobalou, Aunt Summy, and Ashlyn for a wonderful weekend.
We love you.
