I Wish I Had A...

FENCE!

So I got the pool out for P this week.
She checked it out...

Climbed in...

And then climbed out...

And headed for the front yard.

This happens daily.
She cries to go outside,
so we go with the intentions of playing on the slide or pool...

But she guns it for the front yard instead.
She loves playing chase - as long as I'm the one chasing.

She did get distracted a few times...

DIRT! YEA!

And then straight for the street she goes. Sigh.

Take Two:
I pick her up and carry her to the backyard...again.

Welp, there she goes.

And she's off...again.

More distractions.

She faked me out a little bit by playing on her slide,
but it wasn't long before she headed the other way for the front yard.
Sneaky!

And there lies a lonely pool.

Bear Hugs

Paisley took her bears for a wagon ride yesterday.

Watch out, Harley!

P really loves her "Harley Bear".
She kept taking her out of the wagon...

and giving her hugs.

and kisses.

and whatever this is.

Back in the wagon!

Oh wait - time for another hug.

Awww....

Ok, back in the wagon for real this time.

Just kidding. Another hug.

and kiss.

Ok, now I'm serious about the wagon.

Maybe not. More hugs.

Man, she looks wore out!
She's been playing hard.

P and "Harley Bear" both needed a nap.

I absolutely love how loving P is toward her stuffed animals and other people,
including her friends -- (especially the boy ones, but don't tell Dad.)
I hope she continues to show love to others as she grows older,
but preferrably in other forms besides kissing! :)

Wild Woman!

Paisley is a wild woman.
You can tell by her hair.

And the way she eats.
Just look at the array of strawberries on the table.
How did they get there?  There is only one answer.
Wild. Woman.

And how does this happen?
She gave herself a little jump boost and got stuck.
She was going after an Easter egg.

And why would you roll the push toy when it is obviously so much easier to pick it up and carry?
She does this on a regular basis these days.

We did get the pool out this week, but the water was too chilly to get in.

Holy Cow! Can my kid actually climb and pull herself up this ladder?
She is so strong!

And proud of herself.

This was pretty cute this morning.
She spent about 30 minutes "writing" in her book.
She will be a great student.

And again, very proud of herself.

Staring Contest!

And one of my favorite moments captured:
Paisley tries to eat my face!
